Creating a customer upcharge

Introduction

Vaulted Credit Cards will enable you to upcharge your customers using their vaulted cards after placing an order.

Vaulting consists of storing your customers' credit cards outside of your payment provider with a special tool called a credit card vault

What is an upcharge?

An upcharge is an additional fee that you can add to your customers' orders. For example, free shipping.

For instance, if you are shipping an order internationally, and your customer did not select the correct shipping method, you might consider an upcharge.
